This catholic temple is all enlightened by red, blue and purple lights, that summons to prayer and silence. That’s why we know it as the cathedral of light and salt. However, the story of the mines goes back to the times when our indigenous community, the Muiscas, controlled the land and the salt. Listen to fascinating stories about this community, their relationship with salt and how it all changed after the arrival of the Spanish.
