We’ll meet at El Dorado Airport in Bogota, where your hosts Juani and Aleja will be waiting for you. From there, we’ll fly to Nuquí and take a boat to the beautiful village of Arusí.
We recommend arriving in Bogota by September 23rd to be ready for the early flight.
We will stay at MadreAgua Ecolodge, a beachfront paradise built with natural materials, nestled between the jungle and the sea.
The perfect place for those of us who want to enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort, in a destination that is both sustainable and environmentally responsible.
Watch humpback whales breach and sing. A once-a-year phenomenon!
Every year between July and October, humpback whales travel thousands of kilometers to the warm waters of the Pacific to give birth and care for their young. From a safe distance, we’ll observe them on their daily routine, as they fill the sea with their songs.
Cook with locals and discover why this cuisine is Colombia’s best-kept jumy secret.
The cuisine of the Pacific is rich in flavor and heritage. We’ll cook side by side with Afro-Colombian women who will share their ancestral recipes with you. Dishes full of local flavors and stories. A moment where cooking becomes a way of connecting with people and territory.
Release newborn sea turtles into the Pacific and support marine conservation.
This activity will be led by Karla Barrientos, a Colombian biologist and founder of the non-profit Tortugas del Mar. Karla has dedicated her life to protecting sea turtles and empowering youth to become guardians of their own territory. Witness the fragile first steps of these baby turtles, and become part of their journey back to the sea.
Explore the rainforest by canoe, guided by its sounds and scents.
A peaceful canoe ride will take us deep into the heart of the tropical rainforest. Surrounded by lush vegetation, birdsong and the quiet movement of water, this is a moment to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature, just as it is.
We take care of every detail, you just seat back and enjoy.
